Antologi Rasa: on my view

 

Ini novelnya Ika Natassa kedua yang saya baca. Buku yang pertama Divortiare, kedua Antologi Rasa. Nah, karena dulu Divortiare cuma minjem, dan kali ini Antologi Rasa-nya beli, maka sekarang mau resensi soal novel Antologi Rasa ini yaaa... Monggo...

Novel ini secara garis besar bercerita tentang cinta beberapa orang yang berada dalam a friendship circle. Adalah Harris Risjad (seorang player level PK—penjahat kelamin) who adores Keara. Adalah Keara (a goddess bitch who always living happily, laughing freely and loving softly) who keeps her truly-honest love only for Ruly. And meet Ruly (a geek-workaholic and sports addict) who never could ever forget how Denise always succeed took him into her heart. And oh, Denise is married with Kemal—a bastard husband, you named it. Such a cheesy romance, actually. But you have to read it first. (Kalau kata penulisnya sih: BELI BUKUNYA, JANGAN PINJEM!)

Enough about the story and tokoh-tokohnya. Now, I’m gonna talking about the way Ika Natassa bercerita dalam novel ini. First, I was enjoyed every paragraph until last word with laughing at Harris’s jokes, Keara’s response about it and all. Jujur, ini novel kedua yang begitu santai, spontan dan truly a page turner after Petir (my favorite novel ever). So, I will reread this novel. For sure, I guaranteed.

Second, ada beberapa yang agak janggal sebetulnya (dalam pembacaan saya atas novel ini). misalnya ketika mulai muncul bagian Ruly. Ruly yang dicitrakan lebih “kalem, alim dan laki-laki baik” ini justru malah mirip Harris atau Keara dalam penuturannya—isi kepalanya. Saranku sih, seharusnya si Ruly ini lebih geek lagi. Uhm, bukan santun, tapi “lempeng”. Karena orangnya cluless (quote to Risjad) dan memang “lempeng”.

Yang bikin gemes, novel ini some-kind-of-book-that-makes-me-addict. Berasa Keara-Harris are everywhere. Harris is laughing beside me and Keara’s noyoring (oh-forgive-my-english) him also beside me. Mirip waktu abis baca Petir. Yes, mirip. Efeknya begitu nempel di pikiran. Third, kenapa Denise's point of view tidak ada? Uhm, mungkin kalau dia ada, novelnya malah jadi "rame" dan gak fokus kali yee... (Nanya sendiri, jawab sendiri.)

And oh, please. Entah kenapa scene waktu Harris insist to take Keara home is match to David Cook’s song, “Always Be My Baby”. Just put it on the scene and it will be the most romantic scene along the movie.
